wow, seeing them open their show with this gave me goosebumps. i start off many days driving to school w/this song.
easily one of the best bands around, and ill be seeing em next week with piebald. be jealous :-)
wow.....they are awesome live. I mean, I loved them before I saw them, but now....I don't know, is there something more than love? Obsessed I guess....amazing.

i always thought it had something to do with todd bell, who is the bass player. But it seems like somebody is faking their life, and its obvious and painful to watch.
i took this song to heart when a girl that i liked was swept from beneath me. the guy, a so-called friend, had a ton of other girls he was into (i.e. inside of). everyone saw it but her and she held it against me when i tried to confront him in front of her. the opening lines (among others) really do it for me. "is this the best you have to offer us? you genius, your hair mussed"
you're lying to this girl with every kiss while you still reek of the girl you were banging just a minute ago. fuck! what an emotional song. love it.
It seems to be an invective toward a vaunted philosophe whose intellectual attitudes and cruel demeanor are both annoying and eminently mockable.
Am I the only 1 who thinks some of the words on here are wrong??

This song is about homosexuality. Someone has a fake hetero life, pretending to his girlfriend, friends and family.
And the singer doesn't aggree to keep this lie hanging around anymore, and is trying to encourage the subject to blow it all open showing him the consequences of keeping it running any longer.
