"i feed the cats, i sweep the floor - i don't fear dying anymore." can't tell you how many times i wrote that on my school books.
it sounds like it is "when i sleep" instead of "speak", that's how i've always heard it and it makes more sense I think but i don't know

why is my favorite part of this song the 'funny little song (I sang in my army days)' and the following lines. its like a whole different song...
