Young 'til I Die Lyrics

You waited long for 21.
For me the fight has just begun.
You get in clubs, drink alcohol,
It makes you feel you're ten feet tall.
(Chorus)
I don't wanna grow up,
I'm never getting old.
I'd rather work from 9 to 5
Than drink to stay alive.
I'm gonna stay young until I die! (2x)
You grew up fast, now you'll die soon.
I'll never fucking be like you.
You finish college, grab a wife,
You're dead before you're 35.
(Repeat Chorus)

It clearly and logically describes how to stay young while physically growing old.

You don’t get young by getting wasted or getting married, this is how you get destroyed by society and mentally grow old.

kick as song right here. talking about how just because you get older, you don't always get more mature.

i think is about staying hardcore and not "growing up", not becoming like a "normal adult" drinking moving on settling down with a steady job and so on

this song is mos definitly about how a lot of people become pretty much zombies - take my parents for example. their lives pretty much revolve around work and the TV shedule.

For me, it's a song about creating a new idea of adulthood, one that is a more logical conclusion of youth rather than the alcohol-soaked mindless consumers that most of us become. Classic band, classic song.
