Seen Your Video Lyrics
All day, all night, all music video
Seen your video, the phony rock 'n' roll
We don't want to know, seen your video
Your phony rock 'n' roll
We don't want to know
We don't want to know
We don't want to know
We don't want to know
Seen your video, the phony rock 'n' roll
We don't want to know, seen your video
Your phony rock 'n' roll
We don't want to know
We don't want to know
We don't want to know
We don't want to know

Like the above poster said,it's about how the early MTV helped really catapult the bullsh*t production of image over sound.. simple and to the point,a fine track.
The riff to this is pretty good, but honestly they'd say a lot more about their dislike of music videos with their famous non-videos for "Bastards Of Young" and "The Ledge" (the former is a speaker blaring the song until someone's foot kicks it down in the very end, the latter is a single shot of the band standing around a picnic table having donuts and coffee).
Damn right we all hate phony rock 'n' roll!
F you phony rock 'n' roll
The 'Mats hated that other pretenious rockers would put out crap videos in the early days of MTV and get famous.
It was a F#*% You! to all of them.
