Until Death Lyrics

Now you have me
Now I'm there
Now I have you
Now you care

Now I got you
Now you care
Now you have me and
Now I'm there

Now we're tied - Until death us do part
Now I'm making my way inside
Now I'm feeding myself with you
And the more I grow, the more you decline
Now we're tied until death us do part

L-O-C-K

Now it's time for you to be sure
That the life we share will be long
That what can't be cured has to be endured
Now we're tied until death us do part

why marriage might suck? LOCK THE DOOR FOREVER!

Cover art for Until Death lyrics by Front 242

I'm pretty sure this is about terminal cancer not marriage... Front 242 have a tendency to do these type of bait-and-switch lyrics. The "I" in this is cancer, and "you" is the victim.

These lines make it obvious:

Now you have me - Now you have cancer. Now you care - Most people would be pretty worried if they got a cancer diagnosis. Now I'm feeding myself with you - Cancer kills you by taking nutrients from healthy cells And the more I grow, the more you decline - obvious Now it's time for you to be sure That the life we share will be long - The victim can get treatments to prolong his/her life, and Cancer knows this. Cancer is technically a part of you, so technically it dies when you die. That what can't be cured has to be endured - self-explanatory

Not sure what "L-O-C-K-space-T-H-E-space-D-O-O-R-space-F-O-R-E-V-E-R" means, but it could be seen as the victim becoming depressed and withdrawn.

My Interpretation

@conspirator-zero "lock the door forever" means death to me
