The Unheard Music Lyrics
friends warehouse pain attack their own kind
a thousand kids bury their parents
there's laughing outside we're locked out of the public eye
some smooth chords on the car radio
no hard chords on the car radio
we set the trash on fire and watch outside the door
men come up the pavement under the marquee
there's laughing inside we're locked out of the the public eye
some smooth chords on the car radio
no hard chords on the car radio
friends warehouse pain attack their own kind
a thousand kids bury their parents
there's laughing outside we're locked out of the public eye
some smooth chords on the car radio
no hard chords on the car radio
a thousand kids bury their parents
there's laughing outside we're locked out of the public eye
no hard chords on the car radio
men come up the pavement under the marquee
there's laughing inside we're locked out of the the public eye
no hard chords on the car radio
a thousand kids bury their parents
there's laughing outside we're locked out of the public eye
some smooth chords on the car radio
no hard chords on the car radio

The title of this song was borrowed from the poem Burnt Norton, written by T. S. Eliot. The original excerpt is as follows:
And the bird called, in response to the unheard music hidden in the shrubbery.
Only have heard the song a few times, but the most obvious (imo) thing in the song is the chorus "only smooth chords on the car radio" and when they say "locked outside the public eye". There saying they'll never be seen by the majority of people because of their style or punk in general......
prolly the best song by x. mine opinion though
