Bloodwork Lyrics

A simple test, probing loss, looking for a vein.
Tapping on a grave they call their own.
I desire, I invite this process, injection begin.
Begin, break the skin, salvation quickly driven in.
Pride in fracture, in subjection.
A new supply running red with purpose.
Nothing less than flawless in design.
Systematic in possession, igniting all within.
Running red with purpose.
Nothing less than flawless in design.

"These guys are so incredibly annointed." i love it. these guys have a touch of the holy spirit unlike many other Christian metal bands. They drive hard and I imagine this music the soundtrack to good versus evil. Its war music.

To me this sounds like the church, "tapping on a grave they call their own", reachin out to one they call their own but is spiritually dead, the person wants Christ, he feels him inside him, the new blood with purpose, perfection of Christ, igniting all within, having a purpose, perfect by God heh..interesting how they say it though

Is this mocking religion- saying that believers are brainwashed, sadistic even. or is it showing a true belivers devotion to his God? Or something completely different?!

heh no its saying that God starts tappin on your heart, and his blood goes in, and you live with purpose and it ignites your whole body, flawless in design

its actually telling about the whole salvation experience ...if you see it different do tell, i could be wrong

if you think about it being a Christian doesn't make sense, maybe we are brainwashed, maybe not but one thing seems so...religion is dead and Jesus is alive please don't get the two confused :)

relegion are laws, Jesus was a and still is the CHRIST. jesus is something that i want to follow, religion is something i don't get caught up in. baptist, methodist, catholic, muslim, whatever, it's the same because it's man made laws. jesus didn't like when the pharisees were in their religion, and didn't even believe in him.

The song talks about him letting the holy spirit in him - inviting him in - and a flawless design(the image of god) takes form.

This song is exactly how I want to be. I want to let Christ begin the bloodwork, letting all else be in subjection. These guys are so incredibly annointed.

Considering the song is called blood work i think it talks about the work that was done on the cross and how it is up for grabs to all, all of gods children, even the ones not living for him at the moment.

If Jesus died for us i think he deserves that we live for him and not do as the world does but just be on the world doing his will. God Bless
