I think this song is just a rant about hipsters who all have the same interests, and collect scene points so to speak. The fake childhood line is my favourite because I've known a few too many people who embellish their pasts.

I always thought this song was about a really bad trip on drugs. just the background music and the utter randomness of the lyrics that seem to have no reason could be all the random things the person thinks of
i always thought this was more of a found poem, but now that i see the lyrics they have a little more of a connection.
I wonder if it's possible for Hanna to write a song that isn't about her bitter grievances toward others. I guess that would force her from her niche.

oh, just to clarify; I'm not saying activism is bad, but a lot of her songs border on, and sometimes even cross well over into self-righteous. This song being an example of that.
