Orange and blue, green and pink
I see you in everything
Don't need money, don't need wine
I've got better ways to spend my time

I'll see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
And my heart is holding on

Purple, yellow, reddish-brown
Once I felt you, I couldn't lay you down
Don't be shy, baby, don't be careful with me
Let it go, let it soak me down

I'll see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Every rock and tree and leaf abound with your face

Don't tell me I've been wrong
Don't tell me all the magic's gone

I'll see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound

I'll see you around
Every corner has its favorite clown

I'll see you around
I'll see you
I'll see you

Wow, I can't believe no one commented on this song yet! Well Liz Phair songs are amazing, and this is no different. I think it's about someone who can't seem to stop thinking about someone, no matter what they see or what they try to do. Well this song is amazing, and I love it.

i agree. its like shes trying to hold on when the other person may not be too interested. i love the way liz writes, so it seems like nonsense but is so insightful.

"Once I felt you, I couldn't lay you down

these lines always seemed kindof sexual to me, but i can't figure out what the song means

I really think this song is about her becoming a mother. She doesn't need money or wine, because she now has her son, and that love is all encompassing. She will literally see him all around her. It's a beautiful situation. =)

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
