This cover is ÜBER. One time a girl called me a poser and told me she was all punk and stuff. I wish I'd have heard this song and told her to listen to it before this incident.
Jawbreaker own. The Ataris don't butcher the song... but it isn't great. They do it justice though. go listen to the original if you like this one

i quite like the song..indicates name because it makes me think of the people i know... and the "scene" i see.
and it makes me sad, yet its just a good song.

this song is mad coz it bags out all of the fucking poser punks. I hate them all - especially those fuckheads that have decided that they hate the ataris coz its not considered to be "cool" anymore. Those ppl r so fucking sad!
bopton, you totally missed the point of the song... its about not caring about "the fucking poser punks" i saw ataris on saturday & like kris roe said, "being punk isn't about following people like a flock of sheep, its about listening to what you like and being who you are regardless of what people think" Those "fucking poser punks" may not necessarily fit your idea of a punk, but if they like the music, who gives a shit? ... i do agree bout the people that are screaming 'sell out' @ the ataris.... regarless of how they're music has EVOLVED - not changed... evolved - they' still amazing! this song is so badass... i love it
mmm the Jawbreaker version is awesome.. but, I think the newer version of Boxcar on the ABH re-release is better than the first cover.
this song owns for two reasons 1) its a Jawbreaker cover 2) at the STL show Kris dedicated it to me because I had a Jawbreaker shirt on! damn im cool..not really -and i know what it means but what i take from it is that we are all so busy seeing whose a "real" punk and whose a "poser" that its become something completey unlike what its about...and that everyone should just relax and listen to what they want
