to me this song is about horny teenage rebels of the days society
My interpretation of this song is based on the fact that this song was usually recorded and played live as a medley with "Teenagers from Mars". As "Teenagers" is about aliens impregnating adolescent girls, I believe this song is about the aftermath of the latter incident, with the mating partners of the martians reacting strangely. The line, "With your heart in your throat/And the other alive", could be referring to the children giving birth to the inhuman offspring orally, and possibly dying.
this song is great, wish it was on walk among us...
Its about how kids can't control their urges and run around doing stupid shit.
I just really love the rythym and sound of this song. The lyrics are over the top as per the course with the Misfits, but an enjoyable song.
i love this and the alkaline trio cover
Haha, one of my fave misfits songs. I don't know why, it just is. It's definitely about rebellious children. Although, bfk's explanation also sounds good...as we know the misfits based alot of the lyrics around b-grade horror movies and such.
"as we know the misfits based alot of the lyrics around b-grade horror movies and such."
A lot, but not all of them.
i definitely agree with bfk, but one point that i haven't seen is that it seems they are reffering to a period (Pissing blood for 7 days) but yeah i think it's like when kids are in shit so they are rebelling. I love this song, because, to me it is sorta like a transition from the cool vibe they had to the horror punk sound they adopted later on.
Cellophane sex?
Cellophane is a thin, flexible, cellulose material that's used as a moisture proof wrapping
So what the fuck does that mean?
