She Lyrics

She walked out with empty arms, machine gun in her hand
She is good and she is bad, no one understands
She walked in with silence, never spoke a word
She's got a rich daddy, she's her daddy's girl
She loves naked sin
He loves evil sex
She has lost control
They are growing old
She will hide in silence, then her day will come
She was virgin vixen, she is on the run
She is on the run
She is on the run

It's about patty hearst, daughter of the newspaper tycoon, William Randolph Hearst. Shw was kidnapped by the Symbianese Liberation Army, and eventually joined the fold. There was a shootout at the compound and a sign was displayed and recorded by the media that read "She walks out with empty arms."

The first Misfits song I ever heard, and it hooked me instantly. Probably still my favorite, too.

The chorus drives me nuts. I'm just about positive what is listed above isn't correct, and what was printed in the box set (which was based on fans' input) I'm not so sure is correct either. The box set says "she loves naked sin - he loves evil sex." To me it really sounds like "she loves naked sin/sex - kill that evil man" (which would reference the "machine gun in her hand" part at the beginning). Obviously I don't know for sure, just throwing it out there.

@KaneRobot I'm with you, that whole line is clearly wrong and your "Kill that evil man" sounds much more likely than anything else I'm seeing. The third line seems way off to me too, IMO it's something more like "she walked in disarmed" but even the end of that sentence I'm not sure is "never spoke a word," can't make it out though

Um, pretty sure that George Shearing didn't write this song!

I love this song don't know why... but it reminds me of someone getting revenge

anything that danzig has ever touched is brillient and unquestionably awesome. (except black acid devil, that sucked balls) he delivers a feeling of despair and darkness that is somewhat uniqe and cunchily smooth.

Venetian Snares covered this, using a much more minimalist sound (think monotonic Gregorian Chant over short bursts of strings). Listening to that, it is clear that the chorus is "She loves naked sin/He loves evil sex/She has lost control/They are growing old."

And the original is all well and done, and I dig Danzig, but I think the Venetian Snares cover works better for this song.

that may be what it means...i agree with that wholeheartidly but this song makes me feel like...well about my life: she wants to be evil and bad but nobody will let her she loves the evil world but things like her parents and society wont let her enjoy it so finally all the pent up anger caused her to go out and do something drastic...so now this innocent little girl with a dark mind is on the run...
