Caught out alone, and I'm tryin to be free.
Caught up in things that are inside of me.
Lookin for something that I cannot see.
Losing my faith but I'm tryin to believe.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin to be free.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my :.
The world is after me.
The world is after me.
There feeding their jones, I'm reluctant to fight.
Caught out alone at the end of the night.
They're lookin for victims and lookin for me.
I'm blind in my eyes but I'm tryin to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my :
The world is after me.
The whole world is after me.
Feel like I'm caught in the ocean, there's always someone to help me down.
The twisted tangled emotions, there's always someone to help me drown.
Tryin to believe.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin to be free.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin to see.

I dont know any background on the writer of these songs but this songs sounds christian. It sounds like it is about the daily emotions that christians battle everyday, like the whole world is after them, pulling them in, pulling them down and they slowly begin to lose their faith even when they are trying hard to see it God's way ("i'm blind in my eyes but i'm trying to see") and how they lose their faith yet they still try to believe ("losin my faith but i'm trying to believe). So pretty much every word in this song is implying how much he is struggling in his faith and such.
I'm starting to agree with you but when I first read this I thought that you were crazy lol but I was wrong Dude.

When I hear it, sometimes, I imagine a person who is either blamed or framed for a crime that they didn't commit. Sometimes, it was a person who is hunted like an animal for just the crime of merely existing peacefully in this world or another world that person doesn't belong in. That person DOES escape and elude their captors, but faces another bunch that is eager to hunt him/her down.
This song is also featured at the ending credits for the video game for "The Thing", and the lyrics definately fit that game very well.
I think this song is talking about how the world is sometimes such a hard place to live. Sometimes it's easy to live, sometimes it's hard. The writing appears to be losing faith in all humanity.
I think this song is about trying to find yourself. When everything you know is suddenly gone, what/who are you? Maybe finding faith in yourself, as well as other things.
Losing my faith could mean many things could be faith in god in yourself in others
