I can really relate to this song, its amazing. He starts off writing because now she is his " friend" its been a month since they said goodbye and he still loves her, he describes the sky as burnt around the edges, just like a really old letter.....where he is reminds him of her and it used to be such a happy thing because she was there with him but not that she is gone, all the memories come rushing back and he is just filled with hurt
