i wouldn't say it's the best, really, but it is pretty good.

"forever is so easy to say but i can't stand to wait" he's hoping for something to come out of the relationship but he realizes he doesn't want to have to wait for it.

"smile for me. pretend it's alright. knocked down...what's the use? i can't make you happy. i can't even make you feel anymore." a relationship where love no longer exists but the 2 lovers choose to continue the farce to make each other feel better about themselves.

"i believe in fear and complacency. what do you believe in?" there, jason could be questioning the other person in the relationship regarding what drove them to want to be with him. for him, it's fear, possibly of being let go and not getting reclaimed. of complacency, having the relationship only because of his desire to satisfy himself and feel secure while being unaware that maybe his significant other wanted the relationship for the same reason.

the lyrics are so straight forward, but yet, so deep! It just throws you right into the scenario and makes you feel. What could be better than lyrics that actually spark emotions... not just tell about them?
