Watching The Rain Lyrics
here I am against my will
watching the rain
I cannot stand to be alone
watching the rain
time stands still
watching the rain
I slowly start to drift away
watching the rain
it's not so bad after all
stuck amidst this waterfall
my mind is running free
there's no one here with me
watching the rain
here I am watching the rain
I kind of like to be alone
watching the rain
time stands still
watching the rain
but I don't mind it anymore
watching the rain
Its not so bad after all
stuck amidst this waterfall
my mind is running free
there's no one here with me
I walk out into the rain
cause I am not afraid anymore
I never thought something so mudane
could open me up more
it's not so bad after all
stuck amidst this waterfall
my mind is running free
There's no one here with me
now I think I see a different side of me
I'm glad I got the chance in watch the rain

I think this is about a transformation in attitude. He starts out not wanting to watch the rain, especially alone, and then he ends up loving it. It's kind of a renewal thing, like rain, and about learning to appreciate the little, "mundane" things in life and not take them for granted.
