Witchhunter

If you listen closely to the last 30 seconds of the song, there is something being said in the background. It says:

"you think you know me but you don't, you don't know anything you think you got it but you got it wrong again"

I believe this song is about Christians who open doors to certain sins, which lead them into a life of paranoia and accusation from demons.

when he says "she's waiting and watching" i think he means that the she could (might) be God, and he wonders if "she" will be waiting for him when he dies. what do yall think?

i think that the hunters are demons after his soul and out to ruin his dreams/spirit and "she" is his guardian angel. Also, the world he created seems to be the wrong decisions he has made and has helped to ruin his life, and that makes him feel lonely. But God is with him and all of us.

i think that he was depressed when he wrote it and he was feeling like everything in his life was going wrong. maybe "she" was a girl he knew and he was wondering if she would be there for him when... i don't know, something happened.

I agree with you, fxmanz, but then why would the song be titled, "Witchunter"?

Hey, Kiwidd? Zao's song titles often have nothing to do with the meaning of the song (like trashcanhands, 5 Year Winter, and Particle).

ummm not to be mean i think you need to re look at zao hahahaha their names may be unconventional to people who dont like looking into things hahaha but their titles have everything to do with the songs.....trashcanhands = stupid little kids who write filth with their hands, 5 year winter = it could have been how long he was with her and it was like winter to him and he became cold and unyielding toward her because she hurt him, Particle = how we are but little tiny things in Gods hands and we are to praise him....ever think of those?? and as for this song the lyrics are missing at the end Dan sings more that arent on here when it gets muffled at the end he sings "you think you know it, but you don't, you don't know everything. You think you got it but you got it all wrong again" but yes i agree that it is abour demons out after Dans soul so i agree with fxmanz. Plus i remember reading an interview somewhere and Dan said that that was what it is about

i don't know if you realise this, but Jesse wrote the lyrics to this song... but i do like that demons explanation... and durdaeamarth, you are totally right about their songs/titles... i think that one possibility that this may be called 'witchunter' is that, in contrast to the song itself which is about the fear of the demons and the bad decisions made, the title may represent the opposite where he takes action to repair the wrongs done and hunt the witches out of his life, or, if that part about the guardian angel is true, 'she' may be the witch hunter since she would protect him from the demons...
