to me its about being in a bad place but telling your self its not gonna be like this.. that you willl not die in this dark place

it also sort of tells me that you should never give up, no matter how bad the current conditions are.

i can't tell if this song is about inner feelings or possibly the End Times of the world... hmm...

it means that it seems he's at the last possible point, everythings coming to an end, but he knows there's another way out of it and he won't give into the current position

i've used this song as kind of an inspiration when my life has pretty much sucked. not so much literally dying, but when he says "i'm at zero, i will not die at zero" that gives me motivation to get on with life.

Man!, I must be WAY off! I originally interpreted these lyrics to be from the viewpoint of an unborn fetus facing life or abortion. I like the view of it being a song about not giving up, as octus falure mentioned.

Yup, "Release the controls" meaning releaseing them to God.... this is one of my alltime favortie songs!!! great meaning, definetly no over run of words, and Smith goes craaaazzzzy!!!!!!!!!

Hmm I guess if he says it in an interview but i always thought this song was about armagedion, WAFV i think Witchunter is about abortion
