i think i have to agree with you there.
What the song means to me,is that,you've reached a point in a relationship,or a situation,where enough is enough. No matter how hard you try to make it work,it's just not going to happen. Throwing up hands in frustration yet berating ones self for doing so. "Yeah,you're a loser now". Hard to admit defeat when you wanted so much for things to work out.
I think it's about loving someone who doesn't love you back. And that makes you feel like a loser now.
