well that's a little harsh but Matt does seem to think rock lyrics constitute bitter love.... I really tought the first lines were "I know theres something that your dying to tell me I hope it's not about you pictures of me" What does ebody else think?

That's what I always thought the lyrics were... they may still be wrong but they def. make more sense than the ones above. This song is not one of their best, but i still like it; the meaning seems pretty simple but i think it clearly describes that moment when you know someone's about to say something you don't want to hear.

Everywhere seems to have different lyrics, but I think these are the most accurate. Basically, guy likes girl, girl too ashamed to admit it, maybe is already in relationship, so is hiding feelings, but he wants her to admit them.

Not Muse's best but good enough to make me listen to it right now! I think it's about someone who loves Matt but doesn't want to admit it, but Matt knows both that this person loves him and that they're ashamed ("i know that you're ashamed") Or could it possibly be about someone who's just realised they're gay?

first off, i think some of those lyrics are wrong.. and uh, this song, its about someone (we'll call them person "a") loving him, excet no one else knows. person "a" has tried to keep it hidden, (because they are ashamed of it) but he can tell how much person "a" loves him, and is using that against them, making himself feel better than person "a."

The bass in this song really reminds me of "I Am One" by The Smashing Pumpkins.

Perhaps its about somebody who's delusional...and thinks this other person loves them and is just so sure about it when in fact their feelings are completely neutral.

That's always the vibe I got from it anyway, because the song never confirms that this person has the emotions...just that he 'knows' that this person loves him.

But who knows what the crap this guy thinks about.
