Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want (Smiths cover) Lyrics
Good times for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man turn bad
So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want this time
Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad
So for once in my life let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man turn bad
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want this time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time

One problem, it's not long enough...
this is a wicked cover of the song, possibly one of the best covers i've ever heard
Yeah.... agreed :)
This is a Deftones song, right? I've yet to hear the Muse version, though I'm sure it's great. Does it do justice to the Deftones version, our out-do it?
no, the original is by the Smiths. I like the original and i
d really like to hear the muse version - i havent yet...This is originally a Smiths song, but this is a wicked cover of it. I love this song.

I've not heard the original but I love the muse version and was dissapointed when they didnt put it on the the Hullabalo soundtrack :(
Pretty solid cover of a fantastic song. Morrissey wrote really honest lyrics I think, about all the small things that noone else really thinks about but everyone is affected by.
yay the smiths! and muse! best of both worlds.
