i think this song is about a break up, it's really sad..i kinda feel bad for him
this song is about breaking up with somebody and then realizing "oops, I shouldn't have done that" long after you should have realized it.
i like this band. they are awesome with great music. i always feel like some amusing peice of food in peoples teeth...

First of all, I love Blake Schwarzenbach, Jawbreaker, AND Jets To Brazil. Second, this is the best song on JTB's second album, "Four Cornered Nights." Third, impossibledreamer is WRONG! This song is by Jets To Brazil, NOT Jawbreaker. Both bands have the same lead singer, but Jawbreaker broke up a long time ago. I just wanted to clear that up.
Sorry, the first Jawbreaker mp3 I got was ' you're having the time of my life ' and it must have been titled wrongly. I don't have 4 cornered night, just Perfecting loneliness and a bunch of mp3s. I know that Blake sings for both bands... SOO SORRY...
yup so am i the only one who thinks that some of the lyrics up there are wrong? "if i had another last ++dance++" im pretty sure its supposed to be last chance, guess i could be wrong. Anyway sweet song, check out "one summer last fall"
I think this is more about screwing up a relationship to the point where she leaves you, not the other way round. I think the second verse sums this up perfectly:
"when you say my name to me like some amusing piece of food between your teeth then i will know what it's completely over won't you say my name to me"
This suggests she is more angry at him than the other way around...
Yeah some of the lyrics up there are wrong and a few words are missed out in places.
