I can see you in the darkness
I can feel your broken soul
I'm leaving you alone
Alone in your world of lies
I can hear your thousand voices
In the night of your life
I'm leaving your world
Your world of lies
You suffer from your own disease's
In your little small world
Come into my land
There aint no shadows, no broken hearts
It's my own world full of promises
You suffer from your own disease's
In your little small world
I can feel your broken soul
I'm leaving you alone
Alone in your world of lies
In the night of your life
I'm leaving your world
Your world of lies
In your little small world
Come into my land
There aint no shadows, no broken hearts
You suffer from your own disease's
In your little small world

I related this song to when my best friend started dating my ex, whom I still had feelings for and only broke up with because I had to move away to college...ANYWAYS, all this shit happened behind my back, as it always does, so I kinda said "fuck it. I don't have to put up with your bullshit anymore." So...in short, this song is kinda realizing that other people are the problem, they're the ones with the 'disease'. She's leaving them for her own, better life, a life of REAL promises whom her former 'friends' would just break at a whim for their own persuits. And she's also saying she's not broken by this bad incident with her friends, since in HER world "there ain't no shadows, no broken hearts". Also, she's saying the people who've hurt her are ignorant since they're stuck in a "little SMALL world". Fucking dense people who treat others like shit...I will never understand it... ~dana
