Lullaby Lyrics
Get back on your feet again
So insincere
Quiet American
I held you so dear
Get back on your feet again
I'm so into you
We met in a cinema
You fell from my view
Lullaby
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Get back on your feet again
Nothing to say
Some of your weaker friends
Get in my away
Get back on your feet again
You always seem down
Some of your weaker friends
Don't want you around
Lullaby
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Lullaby
You live in my ruined mind
Make light of all my fears
And lead me from here
Get back on your feet again
So insincere
Quiet American
I held you so dear
Get back on your feet again
Nothing to say
We met in a cinema
You got in my way
Lullaby
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Lullaby
You live in my ruined mind
Make light of all my fears
And lead me from here
So insincere
Quiet American
I held you so dear
Get back on your feet again
I'm so into you
We met in a cinema
You fell from my view
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Nothing to say
Some of your weaker friends
Get in my away
Get back on your feet again
You always seem down
Some of your weaker friends
Don't want you around
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Lullaby
You live in my ruined mind
Make light of all my fears
And lead me from here
So insincere
Quiet American
I held you so dear
Get back on your feet again
Nothing to say
We met in a cinema
You got in my way
Stop twisting my words tonight
If you get high on life
Don't leave me behind
Lullaby
You live in my ruined mind
Make light of all my fears
And lead me from here

dis song has always made me think of the 9/11 disaster, if u look at it from dat point of view it duz actually make sense
It's just my opinion, just my guess. But isn't the song about another one song, some special one, very special for him or her; the song that somehow has come out of time, out of fashion? When that old one, but the very special song has come out of fashion, everybody tries to squeeze it, twist it and make it sound different - make it modern again. And the song is about feeling a little bit ashamed for twisting that special, old-fashioned, out-timed song ... If it could be true, which one could be that special one song the new one is written for?
