Obviously, it is about feeling good. It doesn't have to be anything in particular. Different things for different people. For me, my daughter was born when this song first came out. I loved to hold her and dance with her to this song.
I loved this song from the moment I first heard it. It's a great song and it's too bad no one else has commented on it! A lot of meaning... great song!!
It looks like this guy just reborned. Something has given him back taste to life. Maybe he conquered his love or something like that..... He must feel so good! I just wish I could feel like that!
when im feeling depressed ill listen to a bunch of sad songs, after a few hours of thinking and listening, ill listen to this song. helps me to get through the bad times, gives me hope.
I believe He is describing a utterly fantastic trip, and he is definately with A loved one or A lover, But he has just reached the peak of his trip, and finally feels completely enlightened as if he's finally at peace, "lets find a star a star to call our own and make the wish maybe we can't make it home" In that line I get the feeling that he does not wish to return to reality, he just wishes to stay with his lover in the phenomenal world they have found themselves in... ~And Yes I agree, A great Song!!!
To me it feels like describing the passing of the years and the pure joy of just living. That's what I get from it. It's just celebrating how great it is to be alive and enjoy life. Definitely a positive song for me. I always smile when I listen to it.
