I think of her in the sunken blue
I think of her

Living in a plastercine of colored dream
Fire me up with acetylene
She's the rust in my gun
Fire me up I'm done

Peace love hang ten California
Dreaming of the perfect wave
Yeah yeah yeah

Floating down stream of unconscious
Waiting for a girl on a train

The train of thought falling off the track
Radios and Cadillacs
Satellite in the sky
Kiss me first before I die

Peace love hang ten California
Dreaming of the perfect wave
Yeah yeah yeah

Son now take care don't they warn ya
Man there's going to come a rain
Yeah yeah

Mm mm California
Waiting for a girl on a train

I think of her in the sunken blue
In the month of may
I wait for her as the storm comes screaming through my veins

Peace love hang ten California
Dreaming of the perfect wave
Yeah yeah yeah

Floating down the stream of unconscious
Waiting for a girl on a train
Yeah yeah

Peace love hang ten California
Dream long of the perfect wave
Yeah yeah yeah

Son now take care don't the warn ya
Man there's going to come a rain
Yeah yeah

California
Wearing yourself thin California
Wearing yourself thin California

Waiting for a girl on a train

Well one reason why nobody would have responded is because the lyrics as of now are badly mangled into incomprehensible nonsense.

I think of her in the sunken blue I think of her Living in a plasticene-coloured dream

Plasticene is normally coloured in bright colours designed to appeal to young children. His thoughts of her aren't realistic. She's a fantasy or a mermaid.

Fire me up, acetylene She's the rust in my gun Sweep me up, I'm done

He's working in an automotive shop but he's thinking about how it's been a long time since he last saw her and he hasn't made love to anyone else in the intervening time. F

Peace, Love, Hang ten California dreaming of a >perfect wave Floating downstream, unconscious, waiting for a girl on >a train

His mind is still glazed over with nostalgic associations as he waits for her to arrive. He's just marking time until he sees her again.

The train of thought falling off the track Radios and Cadillacs Satellite in the sky Kiss me first before i die

He's still distracted in the automotive shop, his mood elevated by the thought of seeing her again.

Peace, Love, Hang ten California dreaming of a >perfect wave Son now take care, don't they warn ya, man there's >gonna come a rave California waiting for a girl on a train

Underneath his relaxed bliss at knowing she'll soon be there, there's pent up sexual frustration.

California wearing yourself thin California wearing yourself thin California waiting for a girl on a train

The waiting is getting on his nerves

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
