I love this song, it's so beautifully written for it's meaning.. Davy is expressing how our earthly affection and love for one another is never going to fill your heart. The only love that can make you complete is the love of Christ. He's asking that he can look past the 'epidermis girl' and find something deeper than just another girlfriend.

This song deffinitely has alot of power. Our band played it for a show at our school, and alot of people asked us about it, and were surprised by our beliefs along the lines of not lusting towards women and abstinence. Davy is up there with musical geniuses like brian wilson!!!
