is there anywhere i can find these on kazaa? i like the lyrics figure i should try the music, but nothing seems to come up on my searches.. what kind of music is it anyways?
It's kind of a classical music/goth/electronic-rock mix. Every now and then, KaZaA will return some Evanescence. I've actually downloaded their entire Origin album plus some of their original demo tape stuff all from KaZaA.
...of course, I still plan on buying the album whe it's released! :)

this is my favorite song by my favorite band and I was going to add it but i noticed that it was under the parenthesized name...the song is mostly known as Understanding..... to tell you the truth I really don't know exactly what it is talking about......my guess is it is about guilt..maybe someone did something with someone that they shouldn't have and they know that that person cares nothing about them..u know what i mean.....I am not sure about that..it is justa guess...but it is obviously about guilt........
I love this song, what i think it's about is that she's dying and she's trying to tell her boyfriend this, she's trying to make him "understand".
I see this as how eternal light will always be reaching out for you. No matter how hard you feel life is, no matter how bitter you become, the light will wash away all the pain, and purify you once again.
Usually as I walk through my path in life I find that I learn the most by relating things. Take the light and the darkness for instance. Or good and evil. The Darkness is never able to get rid of the light. It can only cover it up. Bury and hide it. But the light is capable of destroying the darkness. As the truth is able to dispel the lie.
As it means to me, I see this song basically saying that we've all lived in darkness too long. We've worn the cloak that shadows the inner light of our souls, binding us.
But the light is what will bring us together. It will reach and connect our hearts. I so believe this :)
