I'm pretty sure this song is about The Fireside Bowl, a bowling alley in Chicago, thier hometown, on Fullerton Ave., where small punk bands often play shows. This song reminds me of a time me and my friends took a trip to California. We were listening to the DTR "Welcome To The Family" CD and tis song came on as we stopped in a town called Fullerton to fill up on gas.
