'msurethat they do sing it. the credits say performed by them, and they just have a few backround singers help them.No, if you listen to director commentary it tells you. They don't sing it. There's a woman who played the voice of Josie in the songs.

I was told that they were sang by the lead singer in Letters to Cleo, but don't hold me to that. (Eats a doughnut) 'cause Im not exactly sure, but it kinda sounds like her... to me? Heh, I dunno.
I loved 'Josie And The Pussycats' and if Tara Reid and the others had been a band i have a feeling they'd have done so well, they look great together. They could have been that pop-rock female band everyone loved. Like mini Courtney Love's! Unfortunately, on the credits it says that the songs were sung by a different band. I'm not sure who, though. However, great film, great soundtrack. Particularly this song. I think 'Spin Around' is about spontaniety, and living your life to the fullest you can. It's a fun song and it's just a shame they weren't a real band.
