Can't Even Tell Lyrics
but I'm happy just to die trying.
And I hope I ain't done nobody wrong,
but I miss you smiling.
And I'm stuck in here, stuck out here, stuck in here.
it's a good excuse to celebrate.
Take a number, knock on wood,
we'll find a reason to feel good.
I know, you know, I wanna know how I feel,
I can't even tell, I can't even tell, I can't even tell.
I'm guessing I'll just keep 'em guessing.
No one sees what I see,
This is my blessing.
Get me out of here, out of here, out of here.
It's a good excuse to celebrate
Take a number, knock on wood,
find a reason to feel good.
I know, you know, you wanna know how I feel,
I can't even tell, I can't even tell, I can't even tell.
I know, you know, I want to know how I feel,
I can't tell.
I know, you know, I'll tell you if it's real,
It sounded like a bell, I can't even tell,
I can't even tell...
hell yah a great song from clerks that i suggest to everyone to see that movie and any other kevin smith movie if you are not offended by profanity (his movie jay and silent bob strike back said the f word more times then any other movie beating out both south park and pulp fiction)
azreal - definitely, ks movies own, especially since im a jersey guy just like him, in fact as im typin this im only about a 1/2 hour from where clerks was filmed in leonardo,nj (yes it is a real town!)
It brings to mind being stuck in a shit job with no hope of getting out. Thankfully, there's some humor and hope in that you will get out...someday.
LOVE this song...Its about the jaded, bored and lost feeling you get in your late teens/early twenties where your just not sure whats going on or where you're going in life. This woulda made a great theme somg to "That 70's Show" cept its not from the 70's...hehe.
