This is a powerful song. You can feel very single word he is saying. He is telling the love of his life "goodbye" because he can no longer take her bulls--t! This song just speas to you in such way that it is hard to not understand it. He regrets the things that they have been through, but he can't take it anymore. he expresses his love sincerely to her, and you can tell by his voice that he will really miss her... and try to get over her.

I just heard this song for the first name early this morning like around 4am and my it just made me so still; I just listened. I agree with Lyrica. He is saying goodbye to this girl, but it doesn't sound like a done-deal-type-of-goodbye. For some reason, he and this girl will always be in love and at odds. That's how i see it. Even when he thinks of her it consumes him because what he knows of their relationship is beautiful which none can compare despite the flaws in their clash of personalities but still ....still in the midst of saying farewell it really won't be farewell because down the line they will grow even through saying its too late. Because you still hear the hope of what's to be with time. .......

This is a song that I never will forget. This is a song that will always touch me to my heart the reason why this was the last song I believe my father heard as he was passing away while under hospice. We were all by side my wife my brother my mom his sisters and my closest friends. This summed up their relationship my mom and my dad. They loved one another they did not know how to show the love for one another I think sometimes it hurt because they tried to do different things to show each other this their love but sometimes it was a failed attempt. They were married for all of 40 years. I felt that this was the universe saying to my mom from my dad that I love you I tried we tried I will be gone but I will always be by your side don't cry because I will always be here my love is close and dear. A very powerful song about true love and the commitment to keep it moving. I will never forget this.
