You may recognize this theme
From my Trouble Man album
It's one of my favorite themes so
I'm happy to, I thought it was very pretty

We're going to
Do a thing now that we hope you enjoy
Some people told me
You know when you're in love
And your lover leaves you and you've got nobody
The lonely hours come over you
You sit and wonder and think, you say ooh

Distant lover
Lover
Ooh-ooh-ooh
So many miles away
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ha-oh, how I long for you every night,
Every night
And sometimes I yearn through the day

Distant lover
Ooh-ooh, lover
You should think about me
Say a prayer for me
Please, oh please baby
Think about me sometimes
Think about me here
Here in misery

Oh, say it, baby

As I reminisce
Through our joyful summer together
The promises we made, baby
All the daily letters
Then, all of a sudden
Everything seemed to explode
Now, I gaze out my window
Sugar, down a lonesome road, ooh

Distant lover
Ooh
Sugar, how can you treat my heart
So mean and cruel?
Didn't you know, sugar
That every moment that I spent with you
I treasure it like it was a precious jewel
Oh baby, Lord have mercy

I treasured it, baby
And you want to leave, ooh
Oh baby, don't go

Please, come back, baby
Ooh-ooh
Somethin' I wanna say
When you left
You took all of me with you
Now Lord, I want
Do you wanna hear me, plead, scream?
Please, please, oh please baby?
Come back home, girl
Oh baby oh
Oh-oh baby, please darlin'
Oh ooh come back home
Home

Warren wanted a Beach Boys thing for this one, and Carl Wilson and Billy Hinsche came in, with Carl arranging the vocal parts. The other harmony vocalists (credited as the "Gentlemen Boys") were Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Zevon's longtime backers Waddy Wachtel and Jorge Calderon, and Linda Rondstadt/Stone Poneys guitarist Kenny Edwards.

Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
