The Magic in the Number 19 Lyrics
She said, "It looks as if you have lost your best friend." I tell her that I have
definitely lost something. I can taste the failure on my lips. You know I would
love to just go back. 'Cause I can feel the world biting at my heels. Stare
straight at the wall until the tears come. There is just something about the night.
It gets me everytime. Is it already to late to dream? They move on. I stand still.
There is something about the night. That gets me everytime. She is selling
herself short and this costs all she has. Paying for all the smiles and forcing back
the tears at the questions asked. There are just too many romances that expire
at the stroke of midnight. To highlight your dreams is to give in to a false reality.
I gave up, I gave in. The joke is always on me. Love gone bad with age... These
are the signs of the times. I know you would give everything if you could. But
it is just not enough to be told the words, "Everything will be okay." Can I just
break down and fall into your arms?

this song is so unbelievable. i think its about the last kiss of a breakup, when you can still taste the person you love on your lips. its about how all you have left are the dreams and how you are just dealing with so much that all you want to do is break down in the other person's arms. its just an amazingly beautiful song.
This song stuck a cord with me the first time I listened to it. Everything written by Scott Windsor has that affect but this was different. This is the kind of song everyone and anyone can listen to and remember back to that time in their life where they lost someone who just stopped feeling for them. I love ending, " I know you would give everything if you could. But it is just not enough to be told the words, "Everything will be okay." Can I just break down and fall into your arms?"... thats classic, amazing song.

after a breakup its always the nights that get me...cause thats wen ur not occupied and u have the whole night to think about how things were/could/should be.
So this isnt excatly my favorite song by them. even though.. it is a very very good song by scott. But I just wanted to say that I love the line; "to highlight your dreams is to give in to a false reality". I dont know why I like it so much. But I do, its like the one lyric that is in my head all the time. I dunno why, but I like it, alot.
I think this song is about a girl who is depressed and she acts like everything is ok. She loves somone who doesn't know about it, but they are good friends. And when she feels like she's about to cry her friend tries to comfort her by saying everything is going to be ok. But what she really wants is to be held by him, like having a shoulder to cry on.
"Everything will be okay." Can I just break down and fall into your arms?
i just listened to the lyndsay diaries for the first time today, and i downloaded this song. 19 has a lot of background for me, so this was sort of amazing that its a songtitle.
first time i read this lyric, and the comment "rachy" posted mixed by that perfect last paragraph: I know you would give everything if you could. But it is just not enough to be told the words, "Everything will be okay." Can I just break down and fall into your arms? ... really made me cry.
