This is about the singer's relationship with his girlfriend. He doesn't like some of the stuff she does, like blaming him for everything that goes wrong. They fight often. But finally, he sees that she was actually right all along and realizes that he needs her.
It's a great song. I'll always remember it from the NHL 2002 soundtrack.
It really grinds my gears when people automatically assume that songs are about relationships. Just because this song used to get tons of radio play doesn't mean it fits into the generic category of "break-up song" or "love song."
Personally, I don't take Treble Charger's lyrics to seriously. They're a bit more concerned about making the lyrics rhyme than getting a point across. (I do love the band though, they chill me out.)
And after all of this ranting, I admit that I have no idea what this song is about either.
