The Perfect Crime Lyrics

Girl listens to mom
So she lights a match and pretends to sleep
While everything burns

Man drives nowhere
So he pressed the pedal, hit a few dogs
And felt good

Boy hears teacher's words
So he closed his eyes and stepped in front
of a train
Woo!

Whoops!
Sorry 'bout that
It's just an accident

Revenge
Nobody forgets
Chop it into bits

The bitterness is hard to hide
It smells like homicide
Just nod and say it's O.K.

I can hear your voice echo
O.K. I lied-it's really the voice
Of the guy who kicked your head in

Look in the mirror
It seems you're drinking, miniature
And soon enough you're gone

Whoops!
Sorry 'bout that
It's just an accident

Revenge
Nobody forgets
Chop it into bits

The bitterness is hard to hide
It smells like homicide
Just nod and say it's O.K.

No one saw the perfect crime
I can't wait for the next time

The bitterness is hard to hide
It smells like homicide
Just nod and say it's O.K.

You try to make the moment
Last you sold it right in half
You die and have a nice day

Whoops!
Sorry 'bout that
It's just an accident

ummmm ok.... how does that relate to bill and ted? was the song in the movie?

anyways

i think this song is about getting away with anything as long as u say it was an accident hence its the perfect crime

"The bitterness is hard to hide It smells like homicide Just nod and say it's O.K." say some1 ran somebody over and killed him; it smells like homocide; but he gets away with it because it was an accident. to the victims family or some1 close to the victim: just nod and say its ok

u cant really say that the killer's a pshycho because he didnt mean it.

but then he could also have not meant it and said it was an accident when he really killed the person meaningfully, so he got away with the perfect crime

Whoops! Sorry 'bout that It's just an accident

Lester91, Are you retarded? Mike Patton does not appear in Bogus Journey at all. This song is in the movie and it plays when they robot evil usses kill Bill and Ted. Jim Martin makes an appearance, but Patton does not.

This song is played in Bogus Journey before the evil robot Bill and Ted kill the originals and assume their roles. Nobody will be able to tell that Bill and Ted have been 'dopleganged', hence it is the perfect crime. "It seems you're drinking miniture and soon enough you're gone" This line could be in reference to one of the film's many climatic deleted scenes, namely the one where Bill & Ted are attacked by their Worst Fears and must overcome them (the easter bunny, grandma S. Preston and Colonel Oats). By overcoming their fears the large representation of them shrank back into the capsules they materialized from, which then smashed on the floor.

Jim Martin appears in the film where he is invited to the future as one of the most influential musicians of all time. Also, a large Faith No More poster can be seen on the wall of Bill & Ted's apartment.

Going out on a limb but if what the events in the verses are part of the narrorator's revenge, everyone believes they are seperate and unrelated incidents.
