Weird, it seems that everytime I go to a show everyones doing 'the standing still' ¬.¬
commentary on indie rock fans' tendency to stand still and bob their heads rather than dance.
Or on just the general laziness of the human race.
Nevermind, you're right. In an interview, he said that was the one thing he didn't like about indie fans.
That just makes it all the more exciting when the crowds DO go nuts...Make it to a New Years' Plan show in DC and you'll see what I mean.
Yeah, I know exactly what he means. I recently got accosted after a Grass Roots concert for "Dancing around too much". What!? At a concert!? That's crap. People need to let go of their pretensions, especially at a place where you're supposed to be having fun. I don't want no standing still either...
I've always thought it was, "Yeah, they're doing the standing still," not "And I don't want no standing still."
