Crack Hitler Lyrics
Sink the eight ball
Buy the lady a drink
And nobody knows my name
Bodies float up
From the bottom of the river
Like bubbles in fine champagne
He's the one, no doubt
Walking on the tight rope
He's the one, no doubt
Got a gash on my head
And a grin on my face
And a shadow called danger
Hidin' in the sheets
And on the streets
In the hearts of every stranger
Here he comes, look out
They're dependant on you
Here he comes, look out
Sweat on the brow
And a tap on the phone
And lives are on the line
Pick up the briefcase
On a high speed chase
Breathin' by the roll of the dice
Reachin' up to the top
Teach the world a lesson
Reachin' up to the top
"In regards to
the usage of the drug...
It modified my personality
To the extent that I was
Highly irritable."
"I was like a crack Hitler."
Keep up the fight
And in the wink of an eye
Never give up
Ooh...ahh...
Look out
Buy the lady a drink
And nobody knows my name
Bodies float up
From the bottom of the river
Like bubbles in fine champagne
Walking on the tight rope
He's the one, no doubt
And a grin on my face
And a shadow called danger
Hidin' in the sheets
And on the streets
In the hearts of every stranger
They're dependant on you
Here he comes, look out

Reachin' up to the top

And in the wink of an eye
Never give up
Look out

A quote from Billy Gould, bassist from Faith No More. Billy: "'Crack Hitler' is about this drug baron who takes Crack and compares himself with Hitler, because he commands enough depended people. So he thinks he's the biggest one...you know what's funny about all this? His skin is not even white! He's coloured and he thinks he's Hitler? We all laughed a lot about him, so we had to dedicate him a song."
Speaking of Primus, the vocal effect used on the verses sounds almost exactly like Claypool's on "Tommy the Cat."
@miestersean yes of course, though he had another band called mr gumble IF you didnt already know that. they were almost in the same direction as primus though they were a LOT more psychedelic.

@liam117779 Mr. Gumble? You must have learned about your mistake by now but for the record, it's Mr. Bungle.

From what I heard the Patton/Keidis feud actually dates way back to 1989; there was some interview where Kiedis talked about seeing the "Epic" video and thinking that Patton's vocal style and spastic dancing were a ripoff of his own.
Pretty self-explanatory song especially for FNM, but it's about a a drug king who gets high off his own drugs and power.
I heard part of it was about a black coke dealer that called himself hitler, and M.P. thought it was hillarious that a black guy would call himself hitler.
I'm pretty sure you're absolutely right. Wasn't it on fnm.com (before the reunion) that he said this?

Since you've taken care of the meanings, I'll just say it's an awesome song with a foot-tapping beat.
It's got such an adventurous feel to it.
I heard that one of the bits was supposed to make fun of anthony keidiss... I duno
I dont think Patton and Keidis hated each other in 1992... Diddnt it start during the 98 tour?
it probably should be Black Hitler but Patton didnt want to come off rascist
