i like this song especially forits eerie feel, i has the effect of crawling beneath the surface and penetrating. when he sings about behind her eyes, it's as though he plans on going back there himself... so rad.

wow, i can't believe that NO ONE mentioned how this song relates to death. maybe its because a good friend of mine just passed away, but i believe that this song is about that feeling about looking at a body inside an open casket and just wanting so badly to hear them say something...or in this case, maybe emily was a girl who used to sing? and he just desperately wants to hear her sing again. (which is why he basically screams the song.) i think that this song describes that feeling so perfectly.

well.. my name too! hehe.. but he sounds really angsty in this song.. perhaps thats the idea.. yet i can't help but be a little bit bothered by this one song's vocals. i love his lyrics though.. they are beautiful.
