i love this song even though i'm not exactly sure what it means...at first listen i thought it was about being stuck trying to get over a love. when you don't want to lose the memories or the hope, but you are in so much pain that it's best to just forget so the pain will go away, hence her decision to "gonna burn so completely..." not sure know that i listen to it again though...

yeah, there are a few errors in the lyrics. Nonetheless I love this song, her voice contrasts so well with the music it seems more like they're harmonizing. I really think it's about a lover or maybe not even that, perhaps a love, a passion for something that's just so bitter and so sweet and so hard to let go.
I'm not a religious person, but this song seems slightly religious to me.

Then something bad happend and he didn't help something deeply hurt her.. and she lost her faith? he didn't help and she didn't turn to anything, she started to believe in her own emotions ... she didn't need anyone to help her through...
