Jimmy Shaker Day Lyrics

Come on
Everyone
Grab a gun
Run
Oh yeah
But try not to be yellow
Surrender to me
Say you will
Say that you will
Yeah but try not to be yellow
Oh yeah but try not to be yellow
'Cause nobody likes it when you are

You came
And you went
Went away
All in one day
Now your mama's cryin'

I know
In the end
We'll be together again
Yeah but only if we're lucky
Oh yeah but only if we're lucky
Oh yeah but only if we are

Every night I wonder why
Why now
Every night I wonder why
Why now
Every night I wonder why
Why now

We sat around together
Talked about how much we love you

And how much we'll miss you
We sit around together
Talk about how much we love you
And how much we'll miss you
And now we stick together
Livin' with the love you've given
I know that you would want this

Every night I wonder why
Now
Every night I wonder why
Now
Every night I wonder why
Now

Remember the film Ransom (1994?), with Mel Gibson and Rene Russo?? Jimmy Shaker kidnapped their son, and when they got him back, threatened them with "Jimmy Shaker Day" - when he'd finally get the son for good.

I don't know if this is the Jimmy Shaker (Day) in the song, but it could be a good fit... Anyone?
