Wolf Lyrics

Woke up again this morning
To play another game
It comes without a warning
It's nothing you can name, nothing you can name

It's raining in the meadow
Shepherd's gone to town
Wolf has finished breakfast
No-one else around, no-one else around

And we are feeling fine
Still get lonely, I don't mind
And now we're out of danger
I guess the're all sound, all sound asleep in the fountain
And wishing for a better year, for a better year

Not much since the last two lines of posted lyrics are so wrong. It should read

I guess they’ll sound "all clear", throw pennies in the fountain

And wish for a better year, for a better year

The last lines are:

And now we're out of danger I guess they'll sound, "All Clear', Throw some pennies in the fountain And wish for a better year, for a better year

I think the song is deliberately blurred and mysterious musically and lyrically. I think may be about feelings of loneliness that prey on us without warning and that may equally without warning go away.
