I love this song, and this band. It sounds to me like he's saying that this person is that "one" person who he will never work it out with, but he will always miss them.

I think this song is about Jason's (the lead singer) drummer from his first group "Day Zero". I'm not sure about the actual tension, but it's my understanding there was some real drama between the Drummer and Jason. Regardless, when Acceptance was formed, I think the drummer (who I'll leave nameless) decided to choose a new life path. The 'He' that is spoken about in this song is god, because Day Zero was a christian band, and as is evident, there are some christian undertones in Acceptance's music. Jason wants god to show the drummer the way, not leave the band and also not compromise with his other 'commitments'. But that's just my guess...
