Always On My Mind Lyrics
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You are always on my mind
You are always on my mind
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You are always on my mind
You are always on my mind

this song says everything about my last relationship: I took him for granted, although I truly loved him, and still do, I had a pretty crappy way of showing it, so he took his three things and walked out of my life
the song? about a guy who hurt his girlfriend emotionally, paying no attention etc, the girl löeft him and now he's begun tu understand what she meant to him, but it's too late to fix it.
Song was written by Willie Nelson I believe, and it's about regretting taking someone for granted, like your wife. You don't know what you have until it's gone. I think Elvis sang this one becuase it reminded him of Prescilla and how he regrets screwing up his marriage with her.
"Always on My Mind" Written by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson Thompson Published 1972 Original artist Brenda Lee Willie Nelson and Elvis made the song popular...Also the pet shop boys did a version of it.All in all there have been like 300 recordings of the song.
I listened to this song a lot after my first relationship ended and it is so easy to relate to. The straightforward lyrics tell of when his girlfriend dumped him, but he still loved her more than anything and wanted to be with her. Who can't relate to that?
His most touching song? Lovely guitar's at the start and brilliant vocals
awesome obviously about a breakup which he regrets
This song makes me think of my friend with benefits. She always liked me and cared for me and asked me to be her boyfriend all the time but each time I would reject her. Deep inside I knew I liked her but I hid my feelings because I knew we had lots of differences. We were very sexually attracted to one another and had sex every time we hung out. When I hear the song I miss her and feel really bad how I treated her and how I took her for granted. I sometimes want to contact her but I am involved now and also I don’t think she wants anything to do with me anymore based on how I treated her :-(
this is a brillant love story.I think so.life is difficult.LOVE IS THE NAME OF EVERYTHING
