Simply speculation, but this song seems like it could be about a man who has simply gone numb. He feels nothing, empty, fame and riches are finally his but it has not helped him to achieve the peace he felt it would. He doesn't know who he is anymore, he got caught up in the hurricane that is the life of a rock star.
Great song, great drum intro, and for the meaning, i guess demoncleaner is right, even tough im not quite sure, its just that the song doesn't feel like this, i cant really explain it but it has such a feeling that i'd say it's about anything but someone numb...
I think the meaning is clear, the song is about apathy and emptiness
to me its about someone who's trying to deny his emotions, become emotionally numb, but its not really working i dunno. im probably wrong.
To me 'Hurricane' is about getting caught up in the routine of life (your job and all that shit) that you forget to sit down and think about your problems and try to change things, but you are numb to it because you just put all to the back of your mind and. You're just trying to get along in the world. Dunno could be wrong
