Sunshine Daydream Lyrics
Sunshine, daydream, walking in the tall trees, going where the wind goes
Blooming like a red rose, Now come on over sweetly,
Ride out singin', "I got you in the morning sunshine."
Sunshine, daydream, Now come on over daydream
Sunshine, daydream. Hey come on, Never gonna sweet dream
Sunshine, daydream, Wading in a cold stream.
Say calling out your window, "Wake Up!"
Going where the wind goes, Never gonna miss that, No no no!
Ride out singin', "I got you in the morning sunshine."
Sunshine, daydream, (Hey) Street coming daydream
Hey, hey, I'm moving on a daydream, (Hey)
Hey, Sweet coming daydream, (Hey)
Sun coming daydream, Come on over daydream,
Come on over, Come on over daydream,
Sweet coming daydream, Hey, never fade away dream,
Yea, Hey hey, Sweet coming daydream, Never fade away dream
Blooming like a red rose, Now come on over sweetly,
Ride out singin', "I got you in the morning sunshine."
Sunshine, daydream, Now come on over daydream
Sunshine, daydream. Hey come on, Never gonna sweet dream
Sunshine, daydream, Wading in a cold stream.
Say calling out your window, "Wake Up!"
Going where the wind goes, Never gonna miss that, No no no!
Ride out singin', "I got you in the morning sunshine."
Sunshine, daydream, (Hey) Street coming daydream
Hey, hey, I'm moving on a daydream, (Hey)
Hey, Sweet coming daydream, (Hey)
Sun coming daydream, Come on over daydream,
Come on over, Come on over daydream,
Sweet coming daydream, Hey, never fade away dream,
Yea, Hey hey, Sweet coming daydream, Never fade away dream

This song is explaining the simple pleasure and enjoyment of tripping (hallucinigenics), while walking with nature.
Isn't this part of 'Sugar Magnolia' ? The only version I could get is live and is a lot more rockin than Sugar Magnolia but these lyrics are the last verse of S.M. and I'm curious. Anyone have a clue? Oh well, kick ass song either way.
Yeah, I have a live version that seems to combine both songs. I don't think the studio version of Sugar Magnolia has these lyrics at the end. The live is a lot better, it feels more real to me.
what are you talking about? the studio verson of sugar magnolia dos have this at the end. it's on american beauty maybe not the whole thing but a good part of it
This is the ending from the Dead classic "Sugar Magnolia."
*Copied from my post on "Sugar Magnolia":
First released on 1970's 'American Beauty', and first played June 7 of the same year at Filmore West. Written by Robert Hunter and Bobby Weir. Sometimes the boys would insert a break between the beginning and "Sunshine Daydream," sometimes for only a few moments. In the week of Bill Graham's death, the pause between the two parts of this song lasted a full week.
