I think your are pretty close with that one wheels, but you did type it like a bastard

ok, try to follow me on this: 'mr. brown' is just personification for the conservitive community. 'what do you tell your daughter'-how do you explain our generation to your kids, even though they're already doing the opposite of what you want them to. the 'hows your brother' part-although you strive for perfection, you've made mistakes too. and 'how about this weather' is kind of like a big 'fuck you', because we can do it on our own('amongst the lost we shall survive') what can YOU say about MY life? (nothing, so don't try)is it going ot rain on my parade? (no) is YOUR sole light as a feather? (no) am i flat out going insane? (again, no) and finally. the 'what's that you say when the rain won't go away' part: what can you say to all of us when YOUR parade was rained on? and no one's paying attention to you anymore? what's that you say? (nothing) does that makes sense to you? well, it does to me, and that's all that matters. i'm sure i'll find some better way to type that up tomarrow...try to bear with it.
Shit wheels, that was pretty deep. I just thout it was about some guy with split personalities talking to himself.

And I cant find the very last verse anywhere. "Hey Mr. Brown how about your mother......"
the whole brother thing is like you've done some messed up stuff in your life, how can you say anything about mine?
what kind of person chases thier brother out of the house? i mean, come on, he's your brother, you know?
this song reminds me of my father...like wheels said personification for the conservative community, except i think it is more of a "fuck you", or a "why don't you give it up/understand" to anyone who has tryed to control you in your life
I think this song was written about one of the band's friends who passed away. Not sure on this one though but i think that may be what it said in the booklet for any time now
Shewy pretty much got it right- his name was Michael Brown and I think he died around 1997 or so. The conservative community interpritation is very nice, though.
