Shake Your Booty Lyrics

Everybody.. get on the floor..... let's dance!
....Don't fight your feelings, give yourself a chance!
(A chance!)
Shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! Shake your booty!
, shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! Shake your booty.

You can, you can do it very well.
You're the best in the world, I can tell.

Shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! Shake your booty!
, shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! Shake your booty.
(Shake your booty Ohhh)!
Shake shake, shake shake!
Shake shake, shake shake!

Shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! Shake your booty!
Oh, shake shake shake, shake shake shake,
Shake your booty! (Shake your booty shake) Shake your booty!

Great song to dance or party to, but that's about it. There was no real deep meaning to disco. It was just feel good music to help raise the morale of people while dealing with the heavy burdens of the late '70s.

My Opinion

What dance songs were in the 70's. This really wasn't disco. Disco was on the way out...its was slowly transitioning. This song is the equivilent of the dance/club songs of today. They're not meant to make your think. Their soul (sole) purpose is to get people into the clubs; buying booze; and packing the dance floor. There's nothing wrong with empty, feel-good lyrics for the club scene...
