a song about fear we have at differents age ?
It's about depending on someone for security in life instead of seeking things out for yourself, perhaps.
I feel like this song is about childhood sexual abuse, How helpless the child may feel, wanting to escape and begging themselves to please ''protect me, you'' and maybe how this child has developed PTSD. Still experiencing the abuse through PTSD attacks at night ''hearing the demons whisper'' and stuff.... Maybe a bit dark but this is what vibe the song gives me.
