I Love Her All The Time Lyrics
[Thurston]
She comes into my mind
twisting through my nerves
i don't understand
a word she says
she's on my side
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
she comes into my mind
twisting through my nerves
i don't understand
a word she says
she's on my side
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
She comes into my mind
twisting through my nerves
i don't understand
a word she says
she's on my side
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
twisting through my nerves
i don't understand
a word she says
she's on my side
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time
i love her all the time

Absolute perfection. My favorite SY song
Agreed.
Who else thinks the guitar stuff on this song is awesome? Screwdrivers, drumsticks, feedback, tritones, dominant sevenths...
Camper Van Beethoven actually covered Sonic Youth. Bad Moon Rising was a year before II&III
It's about being so in love with someone that you are possessed by them. You think that your SO is always right , you're obsessed by them even though you can't understand them.
I am crazy about this song. I definitely feel like its about a person who is obsessed and in love with someone, and completely withdrawn when they are around just because of their presence. And hell yeah for drumsticks and tritones. Feedback is my favorite genre.
This is amazing. Their first Opus, maybe. Really drives home their inner prog, which they DEFINITELY HAVE DESPITE WHAT HIPSTERS MIGHT SAY
Also the lyrics are appropriately confused, very fitting music for them.
This is a Camper Van Beethoven cover. The original was a 2 minute hoedown, so of course Sonic Youth turned it into a long noisy dirge.
I'm pretty sure Camper Van Beethoven covered Sonic Youth. Bad Moon Rising came out March 1985 while II & III came out in January 1986.

another favourite sonic youth song. i wish someone cold sing this to me !(:
I just discovered SY's sound listening to this album on YouTube. It's not naturally pleasing to the ear, but it is fascinating and compelling when you commit an open mind to it.
